Writer, poet, professional word-wranglerYep, that's me. I've been a writer for over two decades. Actually, I've been many writers: Freelance copywriter. Content writer. Writing teacher. Author. Ghostwriter. Poet. One could divide my work into the professional jobs I do for clients, and the creative writing I do for myself. But the fact is, all of it is creative and serious work.
I got my start writing travel stories for bike magazines while teaching composition at the University of Washington (where I got my PhD in English). A long and diverse freelance career followed, and in recent years, I began publishing my poetry and fiction. See what I've been up to here: |
